The Day Before It All Begins

​Since last September, we’ve been quietly dreaming, planning, and pouring our hearts into this summer’s journey. Each camp was crafted with love—each one carrying its own unique twist, a little something special designed to surprise and delight the campers.

From the moment we started working with rangers (and even as new faces joined the team along the way), to those first sketches of logos and stickers back in October—this has been more than just planning. It’s been a labor of love, fueled by memories, late-night brainstorming sessions, and moments of “what if?”

Steve and I have turned over every detail, large and small:
Lodging? Check.
Food? Check.
Linens and supplies? Check.

Steve has masterfully crafted a schedule that juggles flights, rental cars, and hotels between camps while making sure we get just enough time to breathe and rest on our one-day breaks. He even managed the flight changes with a calm hand, only letting me know when something really changed—because he knows I’m a worrier.

Our bags are packed and weighed down with anticipation (and yes, extra ibuprofen and toiletries). The camps are ready, the budgets stretched and tucked in place, and every little detail carefully tended to so we can step into this adventure fully.
In less than 24 hours, we’ll board the first of 26+ flights, launching into a whirlwind summer of storytelling, discovery, and connection.

The only thing missing is you. Our story continues, and we’re so glad you’re a part of it. 💙
