Day 4 | Acadia Vibes

Today we wrapped up our final tidepooling adventure—and this one was extra special. We partnered with the Schoodic Institute and the Gulf of Maine Research Institute for a citizen science project all about green crabs. 🦀

These little invaders may be small, but they’re causing BIG issues in Maine’s coastal ecosystems. Our campers measured, recorded, and collected real data to help scientists monitor their impact. Science. With. A. Purpose. 💪🌊

After lunch, our campers had some well-deserved free time—and you better believe they lived it up:

🫐 Blueberry ice cream
🖼️ Art shops & galleries
🥾 Quick hikes
🛍️ Shopping galore

Tonight was all about connection. We made bracelets, shared laughs, talked about how to bring the magic of this week back home... and ended with our Firefly Ceremony and gooey s’mores under the stars. ✨🔥

You might think it would get old doing this week after week—but nope. It never does. Because every group brings their own sparkle. And this group? PURE GOLD.

Tomorrow is Day 5. Our final goodbye. Not ready. Never are. 💛
