Expeditions in Education Presents... the National Park Vignette Challenge!

Classroom Teachers/STEM Labs/Schools:


Objective: Build an epic LEGO scene representing a National Park, then use your detective skills to guess which park your classmates created!

How It Works:

• Build Your Park: Pick a National Park (shh, it’s a secret!). Use LEGO bricks to design a scene that captures its iconic vibe—think mountains, wildlife, rivers, or landmarks! Add your creative twist!

Set the Stage:

• Display your LEGO creation. Write down the names of all the parks used (but no spoilers!).

Detective Time:

• Explore each LEGO scene like a park ranger! Drop sticky notes with your best guess on which park it represents—and why. BONUS: Add notes with reasons why it isn’t a certain park!

The Big Reveal:

• Reveal each park and see who’s the ultimate park expert! Share what clues helped or confused you.

Show Off:

• Snap a pic of your LEGO masterpiece and tag the National Park that inspired you! Use hashtags: #ExpeditionsinEducation
