A Journey Through Nature, Learning, and Life
The library
Feel free to explore my library and discover the stories I’ve collected. Whether in a book, a journal, or a fleeting thought scribbled down, there’s always more to share. After all, I’ve got a lot to say!

About my writing
I’ve always been passionate about learning, teaching, and inspiring others. Over the years, I’ve worn many hats—classroom teacher, instructional coach, and director of science—all with one goal: to ignite curiosity and help others see the world as a place of endless discovery. Eventually, that passion led me to take a leap of faith and start Expeditions in Education with my husband, Steve. Together, we’ve created a nonprofit that blends our love of the outdoors and education, traveling across the country to host camps, workshops, and programs that connect people to nature in meaningful ways.
My love for writing goes back as far as I can remember. As a little girl, I had so much to say but didn’t yet know how to put letters together to make words. That never stopped me—I’ve always found ways to capture the thoughts swirling in my head. Today, I don’t think of myself as a writer but rather as a collector of moments and memories. My words end up in books you can find on Amazon, journals scattered around my home, and post-it notes left behind in hotel rooms during our travels. Writing is my way of making sure the moments that matter don’t slip away. Whether it’s a story for a reader, a reflection for myself, or something special for my grandsons—Oliver, Nic, and Tony—I want to get it all on paper. My greatest hope is that someday, they’ll read my words and see a glimpse of the love, wonder, and adventure that shaped my life. |
