Cone Elementary &
Smyrna Elementary
in North Carolina
At Cone Elementary School and Smyrna Elementary School in North Carolina, we had an amazing day with curious students. We visited five National Parks and learned science lessons along the way. In Arizona, they explored the Grand Canyon, studying lightning strikes and circuits. Then, in Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho, they visited Yellowstone, where they discovered the science of geysers and states of matter. South Dakota's Wind Cave National Park taught them about air pressure. While visiting the Great Smoky Mountains, they explored the synchronous fireflies and lasers. Finally, in Idaho, they explored Craters of the Moon and even created their own rocket ships.
